Setting up SharePoint
This quick guide will walk you through the setup and usage of SharePoint with VISS.AI.
Adding SharePoint
You can add SharePoint to any existing or new VISS.AI workspace by clicking on + Step and selecting SharePoint from the app menu.
Connecting your Microsoft Account
Connecting SharePoint is simple. SharePoint users can directly login with their Microsoft account within VISS.AI.
Click on Sign in, Log in with your Microsoft account when prompted (The account needs to be a Microsoft work or school account)
Grant VISS.AI permission to access your SharePoint files. This permission allows VISS.AI to retrieve, manage, and share files as part of your workflow.
Using SharePoint in VISS.AI
After adding SharePoint, you can customize prompts and set up workflows that interact with your files.
Determine the action you want SharePoint to perform within VISS.AI (e.g. "share" or "retrieve specific files").
Craft your prompt to specify actions such as “Retrieve the latest document in the Project Files folder” or “Share the Q4 Report with the team.”
Once your prompt is set, click the Build button to preview the output. Check whether VISS.AI has accurately understood the build details and click Run to execute the SharePoint step.
