Setting up Google Drive

This quick guide will walk you through the setup and usage of Google Drive with VISS.AI.

Adding Google Drive

You can add Google Drive to any existing or new VISS.AI workspace by clicking on + Step and selecting Google Drive from the app menu.

Connecting your Google Account

Connecting Google Drive is simple. Google Drive users can directly authenticate with their Google account within VISS.AI.

  1. Click on Sign in. When prompted, log into your Google account in a pop up window.

  2. Permissions: Grant VISS.AI permission to access your Google Drive files. This permission enables VISS.AI to retrieve, manage, and share files as part of your workflow.

Using Google Drive in VISS.AI

After adding Google Drive, you can customize prompts and set up workflows that interact with your files.

  1. Determine the action you want Google Drive to perform within VISS.AI (e.g., "upload," "share," "retrieve specific files").

  2. Craft your prompt to specify actions such as “Retrieve the latest document in the Marketing folder” or “Share the Q3 Report with the team.”

  3. After setting up your prompt, click the Build button to preview the output. Verify the setup, and click Run to execute the Google Drive step

  • If errors occur, verify that all required parameters were included in the prompt.

  • Adjust any details in the step and re-run as needed to achieve the desired outcome.
