Setting Up Microsoft Excel
This quick guide will walk you through the setup and integration of Microsoft Excel with VISS.AI, enabling seamless data-driven workflows and automation.
Adding Microsoft Excel
You can add Microsoft Excel to any existing or new VISS.AI workspace by selecting it from the app menu.
Connecting Your Microsoft Account
Integrating Excel requires a Microsoft account with permissions to access the necessary files.
Click on Sign in, Log in with your Microsoft account when prompted (The account needs to be a Microsoft work or school account)
Allow VISS.AI to access your Excel files to enable retrieval, management, and sharing as part of your workflow.
Using Microsoft Excel in VISS.AI
Once Excel is added to your VISS.AI workspace, you can set up prompts and actions to interact with your spreadsheets.
Decide on the action Excel should perform, such as "retrieve," "update," or "populate cells with specific data."
Specify actions in your prompt, such as “Retrieve the latest data in the Sales Report” or “Update Q4 figures in the Budget spreadsheet.”
After setting up your prompt, click Build to preview the output. Once satisfied, click Run to execute the action.
