I believe the most meaningful technologies don't imitate human capabilities but instead reveal and strengthen our uniquely human capacities - for creativity, empathy, and meaning-making in our daily work.

Since 2021, our team at VISS.AI worked to solve the fundamental problems limiting AI agents in real business environments. We witnessed firsthand how agents would perform flawlessly in controlled demonstrations yet completely break in production. They would start losing focus on objectives, consuming excessive computing resources, responding too slowly, making errors humans wouldn't, requiring months to integrate, and ultimately end up abandoned as users reverted to manual processes.

Rather than accepting these limitations as inevitable characteristics of the technology, we approached each challenge methodically until we developed solutions that functioned in practice. Each of these problems required rethinking core assumptions about how AI systems should operate.

The reliability challenge led us to develop new approaches to handling edge cases and unexpected inputs. The cost problem pushed us to create more efficient processing architectures that run on standard hardware. Response time improvements came from redesigning how agents process and route information. Accuracy advances emerged from better ways of combining multiple analysis approaches. Integration timelines shortened through automated integration systems. And adoption improved by studying how people actually work rather than how we thought they should work.

As a European entrepreneur, I believe building trustworthy, world-class AI solutions here matters deeply. While VISS.AI holds respect for the impressive investments into AI infrastructure, R&D and its advancements from American firms, European organisations operate under unique regulatory frameworks with distinct expectations regarding privacy, transparency, and ethical technology use. They need solutions built specifically for their contexts – processing data according to regional standards and enabling innovation without compromising compliance obligations. Relying exclusively on external ecosystems leaves European businesses vulnerable and dependent at a time when technology increasingly defines competitive advantage. VISS.AI gives European companies technological self-determination while addressing their practical operational requirements, a role that imported solutions are struggling to fill.

Establishing ownership of our technological future right here in Europe reflects a responsibility that must be taken. Of our incredible talent, world-class universities, and multilingual, culturally diverse markets.

What has been driving our team through countless technical obstacles has not been building technology for the sake of building technology. It is that we, every day, are allowed to witness how it allows people to apply their uniquely human capabilities – watching service reps focus on understanding needs rather than searching databases, or small business owners competing effectively against larger rivals.

Valuable innovation occurs when people transition from mechanical tasks to meaningful work. When sales teams spend less time updating customer records and more time building relationships, or when the analyst shifts from tedious data collection to generating insights that drive decision-making. The most meaningful technologies don't imitate human capabilities but instead reveal and strengthen our uniquely human capacities - for creativity, empathy, and meaning-making in our daily work. The technology succeeds when it handles what machines do best while enhancing and amplifying what humans do best.

It's both solving problems together that neither could tackle alone.
